Project and Team Management
I am in the last week of completing the course Project and Team Management in my Masters Program. Throughout the course I learned how to set goals for myself in my career journey. I learned how to look at the big picture of what projects can be accomplished within the journey of my career. My career is not just an end and a beginning, but many projects along the way. I enjoyed creating an iMovie as inspiration to the many areas within my career I am interested in,http://youtu.be/ewVskjbmlpo. I made a successful timeline of a specific project. I learned more about how to use the program Prezi, which is a useful tool, and even more professional than Keynote, or PowerPoint. I also learned how to make a budget that will be successful to my project at hand. Throughout the course I made a great connection with a few of my classmates. Together we were able to navigate the course and help each other with feedback on our assignments. I learned even when a strong leader is absent, having a great group of peers is an asset to complete the required goals. That being said, I believe what I learned most during this course is the project can be successful without a strong project manager. It just takes a group of dedicated professionals to pull together and help each other get the project accomplished. Our group for instance will be with each other throughout our Masters Program. We all come from very different backgrounds and are located throughout the country. We all have the same goals; to successfully complete our degrees and apply these degrees to our careers. I am glad we have been able to pull together and learn from each other. I look forward to their support while we obtain our degrees side-by-side.
